Fresh, local, seasonal: these are the three cornerstones of the philosophy pursued by our restaurant Buckhuser. Our kitchen crew creates a wide variety of delicious, invariably authentic dishes from ingredients bought directly from market or farm and locally-sourced fish and meat.

From breakfast buffet to business lunch, from oven-fresh cakes to dinner: come and see us at the Buckhuser restaurant between 6:30 am and 11:00 pm. As night falls, head to the Bar, where Altstetten and District 9 residents meet.

Three lunch menus, two weekly signature dishes - you'll be hard put to decide. Starters, mains and desserts are served up promptly.
Alternatively, choose from our à la carte menu or select a quick option from the bistro menu and go easy on your wallet.

Home-made gateaux and cakes, fine pastries: each afternoon, our magnificent cake display is revealed in all its glory, enticing you with sweet treats. Complemented by a freshly-roasted coffee, you're all set!
Savoury's more your thing? Our bistro menu is also available.

Our terrace invites you to linger for every day and meal. From morning to night, you can be pampered here or just relax in peace.

White table runners, subdued lighting, animated conversations. A special mood sets in each evening at the Buckhuser.
The popular à la carte menu is complemented by two daily specials, always including seasonal, regional products.
